Head of Room - Pre School

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, experienced and motivated Head of Pre School to lead our setting and inspire our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the pre school
• Ensure the setting delivers high quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Inspire, support and manage staff, encouraging professional development
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and the local community
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements
• Monitor and support children's learning, development and wellbeing
• Manage administrative tasks including planning, policies and record keeping

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 desirable)
• Previous leadership or management experience within an early years setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Passion for supporting young children's development and learning
