Your role in the Team The Head of Reward will report to the Director of PEX to ensure alignment and day-to-day support and will retain a close working relationship with the CEO, CFO, CBO, and Rem Co-Chair.The Head of Reward will be accountable for designing and executing IG's total reward strategy, ensuring market competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with IG's performance culture. This role oversees Executive Compensation, Job Architecture, and Governance, ensuring reward frameworks drive business growth, talent retention, and a high-performance culture. What you'll do (Responsibilities) Executive & Leadership Compensation Oversee IG's Executive Reward strategy, ensuring compliance with RemCo and LSR listing requirements; Partner with external advisors (e.g., Deloitte or AON) to ensure benchmarking, governance, and equity structures align with corporate strategy; Ensure alignment between executive reward and business performance metrics, driving a culture of accountability and results.Job Architecture & Benchmarking Own and maintain IG's job architecture framework, ensuring consistency in salary structures, career progression, and workforce planning; Provide market benchmarking and insights to ensure IG remains competitive across global markets; Enable HR Partnering teams to make informed decisions on offers, promotions, and organisational design by providing clear guidance.Short & Long-Term Incentives (STIP, LTIP, Equity) Design and manage STIP, LTIP, and equity allocation programs, ensuring a clear link between performance and reward, driving direction of creating a "High Performance Culture"; Provide governance and transparency in incentive plans, ensuring fairness and alignment with business outcomes, through a commercial and consumer lens; Work with Finance and Exec Leadership to ensure reward schemes are cost-effective, sustainable, and drive desired performance, outcomes, and behaviours.Reward Governance & Compliance Define and implement remuneration governance and policy frameworks, ensuring alignment with corporate, legal, and regulatory requirements; Ensure audit readiness and compliance across global reward structures; Provide strategic counsel to the CEO, CFO, CBO, and Rem Co Chair on reward governance and best practices.Global Benefits Strategy Develop and implement a global benefits strategy that ensures compliance and competitiveness across all regions; Oversee pension provision and ensure alignment with a regional model that meets both compliance standards and market expectations; Lead negotiations with benefits providers, platforms, and partners to broker the best value for IG Group while maintaining a compelling employee offering.Cross-Functional Reward Partnerships Work with Partnering Leads to ensure reward decisions align with structured frameworks; Collaborate with PEX & Delivery for data accuracy, payroll execution, and seamless integration of Workday's Reward module; Partner with Talent & Culture to ensure performance frameworks align with reward philosophy and drive high-performance culture.Employee Communication & Transparency Drive clear, structured communication around pay, benefits, and reward decisions, ensuring transparency and engagement; Work with Internal Comms to ensure employees understand IG's total reward offering; Embed HR analytics to provide data-driven insights into pay trends, equity, and internal mobility. What you'll need for this role We are looking for someone who: Experience leading the reward agenda in a UK-listed company operating on a global basis, ensuring full alignment with corporate governance and regulatory frameworks, preferably across multiple continents; Ownership of end-to-end Reward Strategy and Execution, delivering competitive and performance-led compensation structures; A strong focus on performance-driven reward strategies, ensuring a clear linkage between pay and performance; Expertise in designing LTIP, STIP, and equity plans to drive business outcomes and retain top talent; experience in designing reward plans in multiple organizations is preferred; Experience working with complex and diverse stakeholder groups, including Remco Chairs and NED stakeholders, external advisors, and a commercially focused Executive Team and CEO; Strong ability to navigate high-calibre, challenging executive environments, ensuring reward strategies support both business growth and regulatory compliance, while also being comfortable being hands-on as required. Skills & Attributes Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive reward strategy that supports IG's business goals and performance culture; Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans; Leadership & Influence: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders; Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, Remco etc; Integrity & Confidentiality: High ethical standards with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity in all dealings; Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate and lead through change in a dynamic, demanding environment, for example leading the integration of M&A from a Reward perspective; International exposure: IG Group have employees in 12 countries, so exposure to international reward practices is a must, with experience in the US particularly helpful; Technological Acumen: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.# How we work We try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company.
