Hegarty, one of the region's leading law firms, are recruiting a Head of Residential Property to join our team.

In this full-time, senior level role, you'll be managing a busy residential property department across the firm. Whilst you will not be expected to carry a caseload of your own, you must have proven experience of working in residential conveyancing in an SRA Regulated firm.

You will be joining a modern and dynamic team that fully supports each and every individual, ensuring that everyone has a great work life balance. This role is based at the Peterborough office, with regular travel to visit the conveyancing teams at our other offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver the strategic objectives of the department. Direct and control the work and resources of the department, investing time to ensure junior members of the team can progress and develop their skillsets.

Person Specification:

• Strong, confident leader with proven management experience able to motivate and earn the respect of others.
• Impeccable communication skills, able to build excellent working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Wealth of conveyancing knowledge.
• Commercially astute with drive and determination to deliver the departments strategic goals through the use of key performance indicators.
• Skilled networker with the ability to build strong relationships and generate business development opportunities for the department alongside our BD team.
