Working pattern of 4 days remote and 1 day in the office each week. Office is outskirts of London near Junction 13/M25
Our client is a leading digital consultancy working closely with both public and private sectors to deliver user-friendly services that drive innovation and efficiency. Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Recruitment to lead their talent acquisition efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping their workforce and driving initiatives to attract and retain top talent. The ideal candidate will have extensive recruitment experience in the technology sector, with a strong focus on public sector digital and data projects. This position requires a deep understanding of technical roles and the ability to identify and attract top-tier technical talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the organization's hiring needs, with a particular focus on technical roles.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand technical staffing needs and create job descriptions that attract the right candidates.
- Utilize data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies and educational institutions, to source top technical talent.
- Promote employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's image as an employer of choice in the technology sector.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical talent acquisition.
- Manage the recruitment budget and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years or more in a leadership role.
- Strong background in recruiting for technology roles, particularly in public sector digital and data projects.
- In-depth knowledge of technical roles and the skills required for these positions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
