Job Description
We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Head of Quality Management (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based Bern Canton & comes with some home office allowance.
Your Role:
- As the Head of the Quality Management department; hold responsibility for the continuous optimization of effective quality, environmental & occupational safety-related processes & an environmental management system.
- Leading 3 teams consisting of a total of 15 employees.
- Actively participate within the teams & make substantial contributions via cooperation with the team leaders.
- Continuously develop a Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001/45001 Standards, taking into account effective & appropriate implementation & the continuous improvement of sustainability.
- Hold responsibility for all aspects of occupational safety.
- Continuously training & further educate employees in the quality & environment & occupational safety of the entire group of companies.
- Lead specialist groups as the head of the task force on important QSE topics.
- Plan, lead & accompany internal & external audits, such as customer, supplier & certification audits.
- Develop, optimize & monitor the quality of the organization, processes, data & document management standards & support & advise process owners accordingly.
Your Skills:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Quality Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in Managing Teams, ideally including at Head of Level.
- Strong expertise in Change Management & Process Design.
- Skilled & experienced in Project Management.
- A good knowledge of IT & Digitization.
- Experienced within Industrial/Manufacturing companies & environments.
Your Profile:
- Completed Relevant University Degree, ideally including specialization in the area of Quality Management.
- Confident & self-assured with excellent communication skills.
- Networked, analytical, methodological, solution-oriented & a high level of initiative.
- Willing to occasionally travel to domestic & foreign subsidiaries (approximately 5 to 10%).
- Fluent German language skills (spoken & written) to C1 level as well as a good command of English are both mandatory requirements. Any Swiss German & French language skills are considered very advantageous.
