The Hospital is proud to hold many quality accreditations including JCI, JAG, INAB, ASCO and ESMO.We are now inviting applications for the position of Head of Quality and Risk . The successful candidate will oversee the Hospital's Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management Programme, leading our Quality Monitoring Team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. This role is crucial for coordinating and driving the Hospital's accreditation efforts, in addition to ensuring HIQA regulatory compliance. The Head of Quality and Risk will also play a key role in developing policies, protocols, and guidelines to enhance clinical practices and organizational operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Hospital's accreditation programme, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, protocols, and guidelines to support and improve clinical practices across the hospital. Supervise and guide the Quality Monitoring Team to ensure effective monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Contribute to the hospital's strategic direction and quality improvement initiatives at the Executive level. Lead risk management initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization, ensuring patient safety and organizational resilience. Required Qualifications & Experience: A primary graduate-level qualification in a Clinical or Business discipline. A qualification in process improvement or risk management is strongly desired. A strong clinical background with extensive knowledge of healthcare provision and management is highly desirable. Experience in a Senior Management role within the Acute Hospital sector. Ideally, completion of a recognized postgraduate program in Management and/or Legal studies. Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and managing complex, multidisciplinary projects. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Deep knowledge and practical experience with international hospital accreditation systems, including JCI or similar. Expertise in planning, implementing, and evaluating quality monitoring initiatives and practice development projects.
