We are seeking a Head of Public Affairs to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our public affairs strategy. Reporting to the Director of Advocacy, the postholder will focus on building and maintaining constructive relationships with policymakers, parliamentarians, and external stakeholders in Westminster to advance our mission.

Our organisation advocates on issues spanning international development, foreign policy, and defence, making the case for Britain to be a force for good in the world. The successful candidate will bring strong public affairs expertise, proven political acumen, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. They will oversee the day-to-day management of our public affairs activities, ensuring we remain a credible and authoritative voice in Westminster.

This is a senior role with responsibility for line-managing a small team and contributing as a member of the Senior Management Team. The role requires international travel (up to four times per year) to support parliamentary delegations and global advocacy efforts.

The position would suit a candidate with at least six years' experience in public affairs, government, or political roles, and who is motivated by the opportunity to influence policy across parties and sectors. The right individual will be comfortable working across the entire political spectrum and committed to strengthening Britain's role in the world.

Interviews will take place in mid to late October. There will be two rounds of interviews.

Start date is 1st January 2026, but negotiable based on the notice period of the successful candidate.
