Job Description
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage contract performance to maximise value for money.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with legal and organisational policies.
  • Manage the procurement budget effectively, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team to enhance performance and development.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Procurement should have:

  • A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the not-for-profit or public sector.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies aligned to PCRS.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience in managing budgets and delivering cost savings.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
