SALARY: Teacher Main or UPS + TLR2a (equivalent to £3,527)

Role

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Physics to join a committed and ambitious Science team, working alongside colleagues and leaders to deliver excellence in teaching and learning. The role will be primarily based at BOA Digital Technologies Academy, with opportunities to collaborate across other BOA Group academies in central Birmingham.

As Head of Physics, the post holder will play a central role in the academy's academic success, leading the delivery of high quality teaching and driving the development of an ambitious and engaging Physics curriculum. They will be responsible for securing strong outcomes in Physics, modelling excellent classroom practice, and supporting colleagues to deliver consistently high standards of teaching and learning.

This is a role for an exceptional classroom practitioner and emerging or established leader who is committed to raising standards, developing others, and embedding best practice across the subject. The successful candidate will promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, using evidence informed approaches to strengthen teaching and learning and ensure all students make excellent progress.
