Head of Network Operations

An exciting opportunity for a Head of Network Operations has arisen with an innovative space connectivity start-up developing next-generation laser communications technology, based in Oxford.

As Head of Network Operations, you will build and lead the Network Operations function, taking ownership of the reliable operation, deployment, monitoring and maintenance. You will establish the processes, tools and operational standards to support a growing deployed network.

The role requires onsite working with some flexibility in line with business requirements.

Experience of the Head of Network Operations will include:

• 10+ years' experience leading network operations, service operations or a similar technical operations function supporting complex or mission-critical infrastructure
• Strong technical understanding of network monitoring, incident management, infrastructure maintenance and deployment
• Proven experience building operational capabilities, processes and multidisciplinary technical teams
• Desired: Experience within optical communications, satellite communications, telecommunications, ground station operations or a related field
