Downe House are seeking to appoint a new Head of Maths from January 2026. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to lead our successful and ambitious Maths Department.

Downe House is a leading independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18, based in Cold Ash, Berkshire. Our aim is to provide pupils with a wealth of academic, pastoral and Co-Curricular opportunities to allow them to grow into confident young women, prepared to take on the world.

We are seeking to appoint a new Head of Maths from January 2026. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to lead our successful and ambitious Maths Department. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding professional who will manage the Department with expertise, passion and vision. The ability to inspire both colleagues and pupils is paramount - ensuring that standards of excellence are upheld in teaching, learning, and the educational experience.
