Job Description
Park Lane BMW is looking for a Head of Marketing.
Your roleThis role is responsible for leading and managing the Marketing function across BMW Group Park Lane, with a clear focus on generating commercial value and developing the Park Lane brand.
- Lead and have ownership of the BMW Group Park Lane marketing plan in alignment with the Management Committee and commercial managers.
- Manage and plan the departments budget and maintain financial control through use of effective planning, tracking and reporting.
- Work with the Managing Director and wider Management Committee to develop and create the organisations strategic marketing outlook. This includes managing the balance of commercial, brand and reputational focus areas.
- Responsible for all content, assets and communication produced by BMW Group Park Lane, including its adherence to BMW Group Corporate Identity requirements, advertising legislation and overall legal compliance.
- Manage and develop the BMW Group Park Lane experiential strategy, including events both on-site and off-site with a clear focus on creating moments of engagement and commercial opportunity.
- Manage the BMW Group Park Lane digital presence, including websites, search-engines and social media channels. This includes "housekeeping" whilst also creating content strategies that develop the BMW Group Park Lane brands and create commercial opportunity.
- Identify, propose and implement Marketing processes, systems or procedures in order to meet changing business requirements, statutory and regulatory changes. Balance business requirements with Group guidelines/best practice.
- Degree level qualifications or equivalent in communications or marketing.
- Demonstratable experience in automotive. Experience of previous Marketing role at senior level preferred
- Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and comfortable dealing with rapidly changing priorities
- Experience managing team and direct reports
- Ability to motivate, inspire and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects
