Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT leader to take the reins of a technology function that is ready for transformation. The business is looking for someone who can bring fresh energy, strong leadership, and a clear vision for the future.

You'll be stepping into a role with real influence, leading a team of six who manage the help desk, service delivery, and infrastructure. While the team is committed and capable, they've had little formal training, so a big part of your role will be to develop their skills, build confidence, and create a culture of continuous improvement.

The technology landscape is in need of modernisation. The wider business is eager for change and looking to technology to unlock efficiency and growth. You'll be the person to make that happen driving projects that bring systems up to date, delivering Cyber Essentials Plus certification, and laying the foundations for future innovation, including customer portals and digital solutions.

What you'll need to succeed
This role calls for someone who is delivery-focused, confident in decision-making, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You'll need to be a strong communicator who can engage stakeholders across the business and bring them on the journey. In return, you'll have the autonomy to make a real difference and the support of a leadership team that wants to see technology become a true enabler.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in IT leadership, ideally gained within a multi-site or service-driven environment, and a strong track record of delivering technology transformation projects. You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively, while also leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires someone confident in making decisions and driving change, who is not risk-averse and can navigate complex challenges with ease. A solid understanding of ERP systems and the integration issues they present is essential, along with knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus and best practices in IT security.
