Job Description
Role Purpose:
To deliver accurate and high-quality Group performance reporting information on a weekly and monthly basis, collaborating with a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver insight, shape performance and support decision-making.
- Lead the consolidation of the Group's internal management reporting information on a weekly, monthly basis and present to the executive team in conjunction with Operations and Commercial.
- Agree on timelines for receiving information from other functions to allow sufficient time for review and feedback by relevant Finance SLT members and the CFO.
- Work with the FP&A team as required to produce the flash of performance.
- Coordinate with the External Reporting team to ensure reconciliation of internal management reporting information to BPC/the Group's system of record, maintaining consistent classification.
- Ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of all management information by establishing robust controls and validation procedures.
- Prepare monthly board reporting for the Greencore Group plc Board, gathering information from other teams as necessary.
- Agree on timelines for receiving information and deadlines for delivery to finance members/CFO to allow review in line with company secretarial timelines.
- Work with FP&A, Treasury and external reporting teams to analyze cash flows accurately, providing variance commentary.
- Conduct monthly reporting of capital expenditure and include this information in executive and board reporting packs.
- Apply consistent definitions for strategic/maintenance expenditure, ensuring approved capital spend is classified appropriately.
- Maintain the capital tracking tool and capital expenditure procedures, reviewing and updating them annually.
- Manage and maintain systems and data used for internal management reporting, handling any changes.
- Identify and propose tools (e.g., dashboards, Power BI) to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy, collaborating with FP&A and external reporting teams on potential Group wide changes.
- Work cross functionally with Central Costs/FP&A and External Reporting teams on projects as required.
- Provide leadership and direction, ensuring team members are engaged, focused, developed, and delivering their potential.
- Sponsor and commit resources to support inclusion, diversity, sustainability, and cybersecurity/data risk commitments, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with extensive post qualified experience.
- Significant post qualified experience in Internal Reporting within fast paced, customer focused organisations.
- Experience leading Internal Reporting transformation (e.g., utilizing Power BI or similar) highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AI tools advantageous.
- Commitment to delivering high quality information and demonstrable project management experience.
- Demonstrable experience in Internal Reporting at board level in a large company.
- Ability to influence and build senior level relationships across a matrix structure.
