# Head of infrastructureHead of infrastructureSalary€120000 - €140000LocationDublin, IrelandContractPermanentIndustryTechnology ContactLee are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure to lead, modernise, and secure its enterprise technology estate. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for infrastructure strategy, resilience, and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.You will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's infrastructure roadmap, ensuring scalability, availability, and security while supporting business growth and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Own and deliver the infrastructure strategy , aligned to business and technology objectives Lead and develop high-performing teams across: + Cloud & on-prem infrastructure + Networks & connectivity + End-user computing + Data centre operations Drive cloud adoption and hybrid architecture , including vendor and cost optimisation Ensure infrastructure meets security, resilience, and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO, NIST, DORA, FCA/EU regulations as applicable) Oversee incident, problem, and change management , ensuring high availability and service performance Partner with Cyber Security, Architecture, and Application teams to deliver secure-by-design platforms Manage key third-party vendors and MSPs , including contract and SLA governance Own infrastructure budgets, forecasting, and investment planning Act as a senior stakeholder, translating technical strategy into clear business outcomes Required Experience & Skills Proven experience in a senior infrastructure leadership role within financial services or another highly regulated industry Strong background across: + Enterprise infrastructure (on-prem & cloud) + Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) + Networking, identity, and end-user services Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes Strong understanding of operational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity Experience operating in regulated environments , including audits and regulatory engagement Excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on oversight when required
