Head of IT

Overview

We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of IT to lead and scale our IT department. You'll be responsible for setting the IT vision, delivering secure and reliable tech services, and ensuring our infrastructure supports business growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT strategy across systems management, service desk, and engineering.
• Oversee IT service delivery to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Manage core infrastructure including Google Workspace, Okta, Kandji (MDM), and office networks within a zero trust model.
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team.
• Track departmental goals and ensure timely project execution.
• Partner with senior leaders to align IT initiatives with business needs.
• Advise on new technologies and improvements to enhance operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise, especially with:
• Zero trust security frameworks
• Google Workspace
• Kandji or similar MDM tools
• Okta or equivalent identity providers
• Solid experience with Apple and/or Linux environments.
• Note: Windows-only experience is not sufficient for this role.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Preferred: Experience leading IT service desk and engineering functions.
