Job Description

Job Title: Head of Identity & Access Management (IAM) Operations
London Hybrid - with at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in your local office

My client is on a mission to transform how identity and access management supports secure digital experiences. As Head of Identity & Access Management Operations, you'll lead the design and delivery of robust IAM strategies that protect users and enable business agility across a enterprise organisation.

This is a strategic leadership role where you'll guide high-performing teams, shape secure infrastructure, and drive innovation across access and identity platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a forward-looking IAM operations strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business and security goals.
  • Team Empowerment: Lead and develop a skilled IAM operations team, maintaining 24/7 service delivery aligned with ITIL best practices.
  • Customer-Centric Delivery: Ensure IAM solutions deliver secure, user-friendly outcomes across internal and external environments.
  • Performance Management: Take ownership of performance KPIs including cost efficiency, operational resilience, service quality, and user satisfaction.
  • Risk Oversight: Manage operational IAM risks and maintain compliance with industry standards and strategic priorities.
  • Culture & Collaboration: Build a collaborative, high-performing culture that embraces innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
