About the Role

• Provide strategic leadership across housing options, homelessness prevention, advice, domestic abuse support, supported accommodation, and rough sleeping services.
• Drive innovation in early intervention and prevention-tackling the root causes of homelessness and supporting residents to remain independent.
• Lead and empower multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality, person centred housing solutions.
• Strengthen partnerships across health, social care, voluntary organisations, landlords, and community groups.
• Ensure compliance with statutory duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act and associated legislation.
• Oversee service performance, quality assurance, and data driven improvement.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money while investing in preventative approaches.
• Champion a culture focused on inclusion, strengths based practice, and exceptional customer experience.

About You

• Significant senior leadership experience in housing, homelessness, or related social care/public sector services.
• A strong understanding of prevention models, homelessness legislation, safeguarding, and housing pathways.
• The ability to lead through complexity and deliver change with confidence and clarity; a track record of improving services, implementing new models, and driving cultural and organisational transformation.
• Excellent partnership working skills, able to influence and collaborate across systems.
• A values driven approach with a commitment to tackling inequalities and improving the lives of vulnerable residents.
