Head of Housing Solutions, Support & Prevention 
Salary: £66,578 - £72,028
Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

About the Role- Provide strategic leadership across housing options, homelessness prevention, advice, domestic abuse support, supported accommodation, and rough sleeping services.
- Drive innovation in early intervention and prevention-tackling the root causes of homelessness and supporting residents to remain independent.
- Lead and empower multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality, person centred housing solutions.
- Strengthen partnerships across health, social care, voluntary organisations, landlords, and community groups.
- Ensure compliance with statutory duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act and associated legislation.
- Oversee service performance, quality assurance, and data driven improvement.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money while investing in preventative approaches.
- Champion a culture focused on inclusion, strengths based practice, and exceptional customer experience.
- Significant senior leadership experience in housing, homelessness, or related social care/public sector services.
- A strong understanding of prevention models, homelessness legislation, safeguarding, and housing pathways.
- The ability to lead through complexity and deliver change with confidence and clarity; a track record of improving services, implementing new models, and driving cultural and organisational transformation.
- Excellent partnership working skills, able to influence and collaborate across systems.
- A values driven approach with a commitment to tackling inequalities and improving the lives of vulnerable residents.
- Lead a service that makes a tangible difference every single day.
