Head of Health, Safety and Environment About Your New Employer

- Shape and lead a critical function as the company significantly expands its network and operations, including the development of Ireland's offshore transmission grid.
- As Head of Health, Safety and Environment,you will leadthe HSE Department and join the People Leadership team, where your input will directly influence strategic decisions and organisational development.
- You will develop and implementa group-wide Health, Safety & Environment strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and fostering a top tier safety culture.
- You will overseethe effective operation and continual improvement of the Integrated HS&E Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, all regulatory requirements, and promoting staff wellbeing.
- You will manageresources and budgets to achieve agreed HSE goals, coordinate audit processes, and prepare critical reports for executive and board level review.
- You will engagewith external regulatory bodies and stakeholders, lead investigations, and drive compliance and best practice throughout the organisation.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Health & Safety leadership, ideally within energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing integrated HSE systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record in compliance assurance, safety culture transformation, and change leadership.
