Location: Hillingdon, London (Uxbridge)

Salary: £37,870 - £56,154 per annum (determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range)

Job Type: Full time, Temporary (Long Term)

Role

Provide strong, strategic leadership of the Geography department.

Lead curriculum design and development across KS3-KS5.

Drive high quality teaching and learning to secure excellent outcomes.

Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing effective interventions.

Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and CPD.

Promote a passion for Geography through trips, fieldwork, and enrichment activities.

Contribute to whole school improvement strategies.

Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.
• Have a strong track record of delivering excellent results.
• Demonstrate leadership experience or clear leadership potential.
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations.
• Show commitment to raising attainment and closing achievement gaps.
• Possess strong organisational and communication skills.
• Be passionate about curriculum innovation and student engagement.

Qualifications
