Head of Formation

This is the lead role for formation across all our lay and ordained ministries in the Diocese of Exeter.
We need you to help us inspire our lay and ordained disciples to respond to God's call to express that discipleship in missional ministry. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in training and formation for ordained and lay ministries, developing a missional culture across the training courses and events, bringing consistency and excellence to our training offers and developing new training pathways and learning opportunities.
You will be a missional, ordained or lay minister with experience in staff supervision, developing and delivering training courses and working across multiple projects.

The normal place of work will be the diocesan offices, combined with some home working. There is the expectation of occasional travel throughout the county of Devon, including some evenings and weekends.
Salary: £52,000 - £56,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Full-time hours (36.25 hours per week)
Location: The Old Deanery, Exeter, EX1 1HS
