Job Description- Lead and manage forensic investigations into financial misconduct and non-compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve investigative processes and outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in investigations.
- Provide expert advice on accounting and finance-related matters within the public sector.
- Ensure all investigations comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Manage and mentor a team of forensic investigators to achieve their full potential.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risks in forensic investigations.
A successful Head of Forensic Investigations should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven expertise in leading forensic investigations.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks in accounting and finance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
