Head of Finance - 9 Month FTC

The Head of Finance will lead a high-performing Shared Services finance function across multiple business units. As a key member of the UK Senior Leadership Team, you'll drive strategic financial initiatives, ensure robust reporting and compliance, and oversee the success of both the SUK Accounts and Finance Shared Services.
What will I be doing?
You'll be the face of Finance for Safran UK, leading a multi-disciplinary & diverse team to drive the performance of the department, striving to deliver a best-in-class service to the group's UK entities.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Lead the SUK Finance function, ensuring consistent achievements of all deliverables and reporting requirements
• Attend SLT meetings, demonstrating value through strategic initiatives, alongside people leadership to drive and optimise operational delivery
• Accountable for the success of the Transactional Finance shared service centre (SSC), and Safran UK Accounts department
• Collaborate with all UK Safran entities, acting as the senior face of Finance SSC, including monthly and quarterly review meeting with Financial Controller / Directors
• Review, communicate and deliver monthly KPI's, ensuring implementation of actions plans
What do I need to succeed in this role?
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present & collaborate with a wide range of senior stakeholders within a matrix organization
• Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
• Demonstrable experience of leading a high performing finance team
• Able to add value through creativity and innovation, facilitating the planning and organisation of the department
• Comfortable working on strategic initiatives but equally comfortable playing a hands-on role to support the team to deliver against objectives and group KPI's
