Head of Finance

We're partnering exclusively with a leading independent asset management firm to appoint a Head of Finance reporting directly into the CEO and board. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role at the top of the finance function for a firm managing $20bn+ for institutional investors worldwide.

The role

You'll own the full finance function for a firm managing serious institutional money across active asset and currency management. Think broad remit: treasury, payroll, AP/AR, monthly accounting and reporting, tax and regulatory reporting, and full ownership of the audit process, both for the firm itself and the investment vehicles it manages. You'll run the ICAAP process and capital management, present directly to the board, and act as the key point of contact for auditors and service providers on fund administration matters. This is a PCF role under Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity requirements, so previous CBI pre-approval experience (or eligibility) matters. Based full-time in the firm's Dublin office, five days a week.

What you need

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with 10+ years PQE


• Strong background within financial services, asset management or funds preferred


• Comfortable presenting to and engaging directly with a board


• Sharp analytical mind with strong attention to detail


• Team player who can flex with the demands of a small, senior function
