Job Description
Overview

We're looking for an exceptional Head of Finance to lead and inspire our finance team, working closely with the Corporate Leadership Team and the Board to deliver our financial strategy and ensure robust, effective financial systems across the organisation.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, offering accurate business and financial data, insightful analysis, and clear advice that drives high quality decision making and strengthens organisational performance.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, overseeing their effectiveness across CCHA while developing innovative approaches that support long term financial sustainability and excellent stewardship of resources.
  • Operate as a strategic partner, demonstrating sound judgement, strong problem solving skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Maintain compliance, ensuring CCHA meets all legal and regulatory requirements while remaining proactive in financial planning and control.

This role offers a varied and engaging portfolio, spanning financial reporting, treasury management, business planning, strategic leadership, and business partnering. If you're motivated by making a meaningful impact and shaping the financial future of an organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role will involve leading our Finance function, covering management accounting, financial accounting, treasury, and payroll.

Additionally, you will participate in the Head of Service Operational Management Team, collaborating with other Heads of Service to ensure strong and coordinated operational management across the organisation.
