Job Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements.
• Provide leadership to the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and optimise resources effectively.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial planning, management, and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a finance team in a retail environment.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
• Experience working with stakeholders to influence and drive financial strategies.
