The specialist FMCG wholesaler produce bespoke food products and the group turnover just over £500m. Within the UK they have delivered over £100m in 2024 and look to grow in 2025, focusing on new product and regional development.

Job Description
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all financial operations.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, aligning with organisational objectives.
  • Manage cash flow, financial risks, and investment opportunities effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Oversee the finance team, ensuring professional development and high performance.
  • Provide strategic insights to support key decision-making processes.
  • Focusing on supply-chain, commercial and operational finance
The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial management within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
Whats on Offer

The Head of Finance role comes with a base salary of £85,000-95,000 plus package.
