Description

Due to retirement, a privately owned and fast-growing group of businesses with a £12 million turnover is looking to appoint a Head of Finance. The business currently employs approximately 100 people and has experienced exceptional growth in recent years. Further expansion and development are part of the company's 3-year plan, making this an exciting time to join during their continual growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and board on strategic plans but will also have a hands-on role given the team size. Leading a team of 3 finance staff, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the finance team, overseeing ledgers, payments, and credit control functions. You will also take ownership of producing the monthly board pack, including consolidated management accounts with commentary and rolling cash flow projections.

To be considered, you should be a technically proficient and fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) finance professional with a forward-thinking and versatile approach. Staff management and development experience is required, along with a proven ability to improve business performance and efficiencies, preferably at the Group level.
