Job OverviewProvide senior operational leadership for Trust-wide resilience and core operations, ensuring full compliance with NHS England Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Core Standards; develop and implement Trust policies and plans for EPRR, Business Continuity Management (BCM), winter and surge preparedness; lead complex multi agency planning and testing; and assure the senior leadership and Board of organisational readiness.
Main Duties- Exercise a high degree of autonomy and authority, leading service development and continuous improvement across operational portfolios to meet performance, quality and safety objectives.
- Develop objectives and plans across designated portfolios in conjunction with the DCOO to deliver services aligning with the Trust's values and supporting the delivery of operational priorities and objectives.
The EPRR Manager works closely with Divisions, nursing, governance, finance and medical leads to ensure that anticipated outcomes are well managed and communicated, meeting the needs of the organisation.
Person Specification - Qualifications- Experience of managing NHSE Core Standards
- Experience providing tactical and strategic advice during live incidents
- Experience leading organisation-wide training and exercise programmes
