Detail

Heathfield School requires a well-qualified, passionate and knowledgeable English specialist to lead its very successful English department, including teaching at A level. Reporting to the Assistant Head (Learning and Partnerships), the Head of Department is responsible for leading two other staff in the department , liaising with the wider school and supporting and challenging girls of all ages and abilities. The department is aspirational and moving along a clearly-defined path to progress, and would suit someone looking to build their CV for a position in middle leadership or an experienced middle-leader.
