We're hiring a Head of Digital Design to join us on an interim basis tolead a new phase in how our brand shows up across digital - joseph Amazon, B2B platforms, and digital marketing. This role sits at the intersection of creative thinking, systems design, and executional rigour.
In your first months, you'll immerse yourself in our current ways of working, auditing how the digital design system is currently executed and managed. From there, you'll become the main point of contact for our creative agency, working together to stress-test and translate our new brand direction across all digital applications. Once final brand guidelines are delivered, you'll be responsible for bringing them to life with the in-house team across our key channels.
What you'll be doing:
- Audit & Brand Translation:
- Conduct a full audit of how the digital design system is currently executed and managed
- Identify what's working, where consistency breaks down, and opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
- Partner with our creative agency to test and apply the proposed brand guidelines as part of the brand refresh
- Translate early concepts into usable systems, frameworks, and components
- Design System Development & Adoption:
- Lead the creation of a digital design system that is scalable, adaptable, and fit for global use
- Build modular templates, UI components, and asset libraries
- Document the system clearly and structure it so it's easy to access, implement, and evolve across ore digital brand world
- Work with cross-functional teams to embed the system into real workflows-ensuring it's consistently adopted and applied
- Track usage and gather feedback to continuously improve clarity, usability, and performance
- Help to shape the future of digital production with eagerness to explore integration of AI into workflows.
- Ecommerce & KPI Awareness:
- Combine creative excellence with a strong understanding of performance, ensuring design supports both brand and commercial KPIs
- Stay informed on digital design best practices across Amazon, D2C, B2B, CRM, and paid media-and adapt designs accordingly
- Creative Collaboration & Culture:
- Work closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, Brand Managers, and Channel Owners to push the work forward
- Foster a collaborative, delivery-focused creative culture rooted in clarity, consistency, and craft
What we need from you:
- Proven experience leading digital design for a global brand, ecommerce platform, or design-focused consumer business
- Demonstrable advanced Figma, design systems, digital design animation knowledge
- A strong foundation in UX thinking, paired with sharp brand design sensibilities - this is not a UX-only role
- Experience building or evolving a full design system-from concept to implementation
- Strong conceptual ability with hands-on design skills
