A welcoming and community centred secondary school in Walton is seeking a Head of Design and Technology to lead its DT department from April 2026. This role suits a DT specialist who enjoys creative curriculum thinking, purposeful leadership and helping colleagues grow in confidence.

The role

You will shape the DT curriculum, support staff and ensure students experience practical learning that is safe, ambitious and rooted in strong technical skills. You will contribute to the wider life of the school and play a leading part in monitoring standards, guiding colleagues and modelling excellent practice.
