Head of Department - Mathematics

About the Role

Miltoncross Academy, an Academy at the heart of its community, seeks a Head of Mathematics to lead the department into its next phase of excellence. The position is permanent, full time and the successful candidate will assume formal responsibilities immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformational journey of the Maths department, aligning with the Academy's vision for progress by 2030.
• Build and manage a top performing Maths team, providing coaching, mentoring and operational guidance.
• Collaborate with district and Trust leads to support curriculum design, teaching practice and learning outcomes.
• Represent the Academy in safeguarding and support professional development programmes.

Working Hours

32.5 hours per week.
