The Role
Trident Schoolsseekto appointa suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic educator to lead Learning and Behavioural Support across the group.
The successful candidate will be based at Trident College Solwezi, where they will initially spend most of their time, and will report to the Executive Head through the Head of Trident College.
This role isfirst and foremosta Learning Support leadership position, with scope to help shape a broader pastoral support model as the schools continue to grow.
Pastoral and Boarding Involvement
Trident College Solwezi offers boarding, and pupil support naturally extends beyond the classroom.
Exposure to pastoral and boarding contexts will form part of the role. Experience in counselling or boarding is advantageous but not essential. A willingness to engage in the wider life of the school, including a boarding house attachment, would be welcomed and supported.
We encourage applications from outstanding Learning Support practitioners who may wish to grow into broader pastoral responsibilities over time.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Education degree, or a bachelor's degree with a Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (or equivalent). A minimum of five years' experience in Learning Support and/or a related pastoral role. Current registration as a teacher or with a relevant professional association
