ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of Culinary & Hospitality, you will lead Averys culinary, hospitality, housekeeping, and laundry strategy across our care home portfolio, ensuring exceptional standards, strong compliance, and outstanding resident experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading service standards across Culinary, Hospitality.
- Driving food safety compliance, EHO standards, and continuous improvement
- Managing menu development, allergen compliance, and IDDSI training
- Supporting budget performance, supplier relationships, and operational efficiencies
- Building strong partnerships with General Managers and senior leaders across the business

- Flexibility to travel nationally

- National travel across Avery homes
- A DBS Disclosure check (paid for by Avery Healthcare)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- For this role, candidates must possess senior leadership experience in multi-site culinary, hospitality, or hotel services. A strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and regulatory standards is essential. The role demands excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience in managing budgets, KPIs, and supplier performance. Flexibility to travel nationally is required. Additionally, candidates should hold a degree or equivalent qualification, underscoring their capability to manage various aspects of culinary and hospitality within a healthcare setting.
