Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to take the next step in your career and move into a PCF-approved role?

An established international digital assets, payments and financial infrastructure business headquartered in Madrid is expanding its regulated European operations through Ireland and is seeking a Head of Compliance (PCF-12) to join its growing leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the build-out of a regulated business, helping shape the compliance framework, governance structure and regulatory culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the firm's Compliance Framework and Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
  • Oversee compliance across digital assets and payments activities.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and ongoing compliance obligations.
  • Support regulatory engagement and supervisory interactions.
  • Provide compliance guidance to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impacts.
  • Oversee complaints handling, governance and conduct-related matters.
  • Deliver regular reporting to Executive Management, the Audit & Risk Committee and the Board.
  • Help embed a strong compliance culture across the organisation.

About You

  • Experience within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong compliance, governance or regulatory affairs experience.
  • Experience gained within Payments, E-Money, Banking, Fintech, Investment Services or Digital Assets would be highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance monitoring.
  • Experience working with regulators and senior stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress into a PCF-approved position.
