An established international digital assets, payments and financial infrastructure business headquartered in Madrid is expanding its regulated European operations through Ireland and is seeking a Head of Compliance (PCF-12) to join its growing leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the build-out of a regulated business, helping shape the compliance framework, governance structure and regulatory culture from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the firm's Compliance Framework and Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
- Oversee compliance across digital assets and payments activities.
- Manage regulatory reporting and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Support regulatory engagement and supervisory interactions.
- Provide compliance guidance to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impacts.
- Oversee complaints handling, governance and conduct-related matters.
- Deliver regular reporting to Executive Management, the Audit & Risk Committee and the Board.
- Help embed a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
About You
- Experience within a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong compliance, governance or regulatory affairs experience.
- Experience gained within Payments, E-Money, Banking, Fintech, Investment Services or Digital Assets would be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance monitoring.
- Experience working with regulators and senior stakeholders.
- Ambitious and motivated to progress into a PCF-approved position.
