Job Description

As Head of Compliance, you will develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive compliance and risk management program. This role is critical in ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. You will work closely with various departments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.


You will report to the Global Quality & Aftersales Director and will be based in Madrid (Getafe). You will collaborate closely with the Global Sustainability Department, as well as Internal Control and Indirect Purchase Departments.


Your role will be:


Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of product compliance for all our Product Categories (except Fragrances and Home Scents), including special projects - e.g. Salone di Mobile - and Global Marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a robust compliance program that addresses all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and covers LVMH global roadmap.
  • Create and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with LVMH roadmap , industry best practices and evolving regulations.
  • Stay up to date on product-related regulations and standards in relevant markets, organize effective regulatory monitoring and access to all needed relevant official documentation,
  • Identify and assess potential risks across the organization, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update the organization's risk profile.

Duty of Vigilance:

  • Implement and maintain a duty of vigilance program to identify and address potential human, social and environmental risks in the supply chain for all Product Categories except Fragrances and Home Scents, including different levels of audits, inspections, checks, at vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct due diligence on suppliers and business partners.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address any identified risks.

Sustainability & traceability:

  • Input into global sustainability strategy and implement the organization's industrial sustainability agenda.
  • Monitor and report on the environmental performance for the Industrial and Supply Chain scope.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce the environmental impact.
  • Establish and maintain systems for tracking products and materials throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with traceability requirements in relevant markets.

Reporting and Monitoring:

  • Prepare reports on compliance and risk management activities for senior management, more specifically to Loewe Supplier Sustainability Committee and LVMH Duty of Vigilance Taskforce.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory authorities.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance violations.

Team Management:

  • Supervise & lead a team of professionals, including external consultants.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Manage, motivate, and involve teams, maximizing their commitment to ensure the long-term success of transformations by supporting any resistance to change.

  • What is important for the role:


    • 15+ years of relevant experience in compliance and risk management, preferably with international projects of significant complexity and /or in Manufacturing industries
    • Sound knowledge of legal requirements and controls: relevant laws, regulations, and manufacturing standards.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, well-developed organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage interdisciplinary teams.
    • Good command of English and Spanish is mandatory (verbal & written). A third language (French or Italian) is a plus.
    • Professional certification is preferred.
