This newly created role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead commercial growth activity, driving regional development and strategic partnerships within a values driven and forward thinking organisation.
This position will suit a commercially minded leader with experience scaling service based operations, within local authority, care, NHS or commissioning bodies.
DAY TO DAY:As Head of Commercial Growth & Development, you will play a pivotal part in the organisation's growth journey, leading business development strategy across multiple regions. Reporting at senior level, you will identify and secure new opportunities, build high value partnerships, and support the expansion of services into new geographical areas.
This is a role where you can make a genuine impact - partnering closely with senior stakeholders, commissioners, and operational leaders to drive sustainable and ethical growth.
Develop and deliver a multi-region commercial growth strategy aligned to organisational values and mission
Lead and mentor the business development function, championing a high-performance culture
Identify new commercial partnerships, opportunities, and contracted services
Drive expansion activity across new regions, supporting operational and quality teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and external stakeholders
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity
Represent the organisation at key events and industry forums
Ensure robust compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Report progress, risks, and commercial performance to senior leadership
We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader with:
A proven track record in business development, commercial leadership, or growth strategy
Experience within the supported living, care, or related public sector environment
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
The ability to balance strategy with hands on execution
A commercial mindset combined with a mission led approach
Willingness to travel across regions as required
