Head of Chemistry

Full time or part time, commencing September 2026.

Wells Cathedral School seeks an outstanding and inspirational Head of Chemistry to lead a well established department within the Science Faculty.

A strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related discipline and proven success in teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A Level are essential.

Closing date: Tuesday 5 May 2026, 12 noon.

All candidates must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. The School will also conduct an online due diligence search.
