Head of Centre,Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre

Hours: 37 hours per week (includes evening, overnight, and weekend working, reflecting the nature of a 52- week residential operation)

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Centre to provide strategic leadership and operational management at Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and inspiring outdoor learning experiences for young people and families. This role is not just about management; it's about guiding a passionate team, driving innovation, and creating unforgettable memories for our visitors.

As the Head of Centre, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and sustainability of the Centre.
  • Overseeing staff, programmes, facilities, and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with Notts Outdoors to promote outdoor activities.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Driving performance and fostering a positive team culture.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A relevant qualification in outdoor education, management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a leadership role within an educational or outdoor setting.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in outdoor environments.
