Job Description
Overview 
- Establish and lead the enterprise AI Technology Practice and roadmap
- Define AI strategy aligned to business and technology priorities
- Build reusable AI capabilities, frameworks, governance and standards
- Develop an AI operating model and engagement approach across technology teams
- Act as a senior advisor to CIO, CTO and Engineering leadership
- Drive AI-assisted software engineering adoption across development teams
- Modernise SDLC processes using AI-enabled tooling and automation
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and accelerate delivery
- Identify and prioritise high-value internal AI use cases
- Establish AI governance, security and compliance standards
- Significant years of leadership experience in software engineering, enterprise technology or digital transformation
- Proven experience leading engineering modernisation or platform transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices including cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, platform engineering and API-first architecture
- Practical understanding of AI and GenAI technologies and their enterprise application
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional transformation
- Strong commercial and operational mindset
- Experience establishing governance, standards and scalable operating models
