Head Chef/Business Partner

Overview

Head Chef and business partner required for the Old Market Bar and Restaurant in Bandon. A percentage of profits from the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead a busy kitchen environment and set high operational standards.
• Develop menus and creative offerings (creative license to create new menus).
• Drive food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fully trained and certified in HACCP.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and labour costs.
• Passion for leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to work as a business partner with responsibility for profitability.

Compensation

• Salary between €50,000 and €60,000 depending on experience.
• Bonuses for waste control and labour cost management.
• All tips shared equally between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
