Overview
An acclaimed wedding business, Swynford Manor is an exclusive wedding venue with a friendly and professional focus. We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our small team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the standards required by Swynford Manor are kept and to always achieve and maintain a 5-stars EHO rating.
Be responsible for organising and carrying out all daily tasks and ensure the small team execute these to a high standard.
Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and health & safety practices.
Work well within a fast-paced environment as part of a small professional team.
Lead by example & motivate your team.
Keeping a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
This is a hands-on role and requires someone with a good work ethic.
The role provides a great work/life balance due to our focus on weddings only.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous, ideally in a weddings or banquetting environment (required)
Food safety level 2 or 3 (preferred)
HACCP, COSHH & H&S certification (preferred)
Allergens training (preferred)
A good command of English, both spoken and written (required)
Must have the right to live and work in the UK (required)
A Head Chef who enjoys being part of a fun team with a love for weddings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
