Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food production, and the ability to manage a diverse team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, and creating innovative menus that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes.
Develop and design menus that cater to seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Extensive culinary experience with a passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
Strong leadership abilities to guide the kitchen team towards achieving operational goals.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a commitment to continuous improvement in culinary skills.
