Job Summary
We're opening a vibrant football-themed bar serving authentic Punjabi cuisine , and we're looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the menu, build a team, and be part of a brand-new hospitality concept.
Whether it's matchday rushes or midweek bites, you'll be at the heart of the action-delivering bold, flavour-packed food that keeps our guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations with full responsibility for food quality and consistency
Create and manage a Punjabi-inspired menu that suits a casual dining and bar environment
Train, supervise, and motivate a small kitchen team
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health & safety
Control stock, manage ordering, and monitor food cost margins
Work closely with the General Manager to plan promotions, events, and matchday specials
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen at all times
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef (Sous Chef or similar)
Expertise in Punjabi cuisine - both traditional and contemporary styles
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent time management and ability to perform under pressure
Up-to-date food hygiene certificate (Level 2 minimum)
Passion for food, football, and creating a memorable guest experience
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and match days
