Job Description

If you are a bright, motivated, and effective Head Chef and team leader who would relish the opportunity to run a kitchen in an engaging public house, then do get in touch.

You shall need:

Your job role will include:

  • Leading a motivated and enthusiastic team and ensuring food is delivered to a high standard.
  • Meeting financial objectives by managing stock, controlling waste, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Maintaining operations in line with company policies and standard operational procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures and complying with health and legal regulations.
  • Controlling day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing the kitchen team members.
  • Using imagination and the ability to maximise business potential.
  • Recognizing the importance of atmosphere and customer experience in community pubs.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Holding a Level 3 Health and Safety Qualification with a thorough understanding of food safety, COSHH, and H&S.
  • Keeping the kitchen cleanliness to a high standard and ensuring kitchen compliance is up to date.
