TheOpportunity

Teamworx are looking for an experienced andcreative Head Chef to join a well-established, high-profile food retailbusiness. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who wants to combineculinary creativity with commercial thinking, playing a key role in developingan exceptional food offering and delivering consistently high standards acrossthe business.

The successful candidate will have theopportunity to influence menus, products and food development while also takingownership of the operational and commercial performance of the food function.

KeyResponsibilities
  • Lead the development andinnovation of the food offering.
  • Create and develop newproducts, recipes and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain consistently highstandards of food quality, presentation and food safety.
  • Manage and coordinate staffrosters to ensure effective daily coverage.
  • Lead, motivate and develop theculinary team.
  • Manage wage margins and ensurestaffing is aligned with business requirements.
  • Manage food margins, includingfood cost, purchasing and portion control.
  • Work closely with suppliers andensure quality and value.
  • Monitor customer feedback anduse insight to continually improve the offering.
  • Ensure all HACCP, health &safety and food hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Support the wider business withideas and initiatives that drive sales and customer experience.
  • Maintain a strong focus oncommercial performance alongside culinary excellence.
What We'reLooking For
  • Proven experience as a HeadChef, Executive Chef or senior Chef.
  • Strong background in fooddevelopment and innovation.
  • Experience working within ahigh-volume or premium food environment.
  • Commercially astute, with anunderstanding of food and wage margins.
  • Strong experience in roster andpeople management.
  • Creative, organised andhands-on.
  • Excellent knowledge of foodsafety and HACCP.
  • A genuine passion for qualityfood and customer experience.
  • Someone who enjoys developingideas and bringing them to life.
