Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism.
  2. Advise and coach managers on how the people agenda will be implemented to achieve high levels of success.
  3. Drive a culture of high performance where talent is recognised and stretched.
  4. Challenge team cultures and behaviours to ensure that they are consistent with the Firm's culture at all times.
  5. Be proactive in terms of understanding, data and insight (externally and internally) to role model the highest levels of HR skill and professionalism.
  6. Support all managers (and employees) on HR policies and practices that ensure fairness and expediency ensuring that those policies and practices are up to date and best practice.
  7. Support managers in the effective staffing of their teams in conjunction with the lateral recruiter, ensuring inclusivity in how the firm recruits, how to develop and who to promote.
  8. Develop an external network to be up to date in terms of practice within the sector.
  9. Collaborate with HR colleagues to support a global one team approach and challenge where appropriate to deliver the people agenda.
  10. Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
