Overview

Earn £13.45 per hour (Salary £26,300 per annum, pro rata)

What you'll do

• Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas.
• Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds.
• Carry out regular fire safety checks.
• Work with colleagues, contractors and customers.
• Liaise with the Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit.

Qualifications

• A team player with a can do attitude and enthusiasm.
• General maintenance know how, a bit of carpentry, basic plumbing and confidence with a paintbrush or broom.
• Comfortable working and communicating with people from all walks of life.
• Ability to use technology to ensure safe and accurate record keeping.
• Vehicle insured for business purposes. Mileage will be paid.
• Standard DBS check (paid by the employer).

Working hours & arrangements

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Part time role with some flexibility depending on ongoing maintenance needs.

Based at Bath; travel around local properties, occasional travel outside the area.
