Gymnastics Co-ordinator - Part Time - GL1 Leisure Centre

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Co ordinator to lead and develop our gymnastics programme at GL1 Leisure Centre. This is a hands on leadership role combining coaching, programme development and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor a team of gymnastics coaches
• Plan, deliver and oversee high quality recreational and competitive gymnastics sessions
• Create a safe, inclusive and progressive training environment
• Monitor gymnast development and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures are followed
• Manage gymnastics administration including class schedules, coach rotas, attendance, re-enrolments and parent communication
• Coordinate classes, events and competitions and liaise with third party hirers
• Recruit, train and develop gymnastics coaches and support staff
• Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development
• Track KPIs and report on programme performance and growth
• Work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership teams

Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)

Required Qualifications

• Level 2 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
• Proven experience coaching recreational and/or competitive gymnasts
• Experience managing workloads and working in a leisure environment
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Up to date Safeguarding, First Aid and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain

Desirable

• Level 3 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
• Previous leadership or head coach experience
• Programme management and staff management experienceBudget, invoicing or sales knowledge
• Confident IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
